"Grape Agate" - Spherical Amethyst Cluster - Sulawesi, Indonesia

Commonly referred to as Grape Agate, these specimens from Sulawesi, Indonesia are not really agates, but clusters of small, spherical Amethyst crystals, with colors spanning a range of purples, greens, and greys depending on composition or other inclusions.

This is a purplish-grey specimen with a druzy coating over most of its surface, making it a very sparkly piece! Some traces of an unidentified blue mineral can also be found.
