"Grape Agate" - Spherical Amethyst - Sulawesi, Indonesia

Commonly referred to as Grape Agate, these specimens from Sulawesi, Indonesia are not really agates, but clusters of small, spherical Amethyst crystals, with colors spanning a range of purples, greens, and greys depending on composition or other inclusions.

This piece is more heavily included, and blue-green in color. This is typically due to inclusions of Celadonite within the Amethyst. Some druze present as well!
